Give the paragraph one job
A focused paragraph develops one main idea. Start with a topic sentence that tells the reader what the paragraph is about. Add an explanation or example that directly supports it. A closing sentence can connect those details back to the main point without introducing an unrelated subject.
Studying with a partner helps me stay motivated. We agree on a small goal before each session and check each other's progress at the end. Last week, we practised ten new phrases together and used them in a short conversation. This simple routine makes it easier for me to keep studying.
Make support specific
General praise such as it is good does not explain much. Replace it with an action, reason, or example. Use connectors to show a real relationship: for example introduces an illustration, because gives a reason, and however signals a contrast. Write four sentences about a study habit that works for you.
General: My notebook is useful. Specific: I write one original sentence beside each new word, so I can review its meaning in context.
